My unit is facing the Woodward Ave and I can hear the cars, ambulances, and motorcycles going by all night long. I can barely get any sleep at nights to the point that it is starting to affect my health and my performance in school. Also, as if the noise from the street wasn't disturbing enough, the A/C unit for the entire fifth floor is right above my unit and it makes an extremely loud humming noise all day long. I've complained to the management office about both noises, but there is nothing they can do about either of them. There is something seriously wrong with how this building has been built and there are no insulators in between the walls or windows whatsoever. The only reason that I am giving this review 2 out 5 and not just 1 is because some of the building staff members are nice and polite, otherwise my experience with this building so far has been nothing but disappointing. I will try again to change my unit at the end of my contract and if I can find a better unit and my experience changes for better or worse I will update this review.

Terrible leasing service. Once the contract is finalized, leasing no longer care or will assist you when a problem arise. We had an extremely obnoxious tenant who's playing music with bass at extremely loud volume on weekdays at 3 AM, leasing would not assist in resolving the problem. Construction of partnering businesses would begin at 6 AM which is earlier than the city's noise regulation, yet employees would ignores it and pretend that they did not hear the metallic drilling noise and constant hammering; even if you record the incidents and bring it to them. On a side note, don't expect any compromises from leasing. If you enjoy living in an building that promotes 4 roommates in a 1 bedroom apartment or tenants running down the halls at 3:15 AM every Tuesday morning, this is this place to go. Also, sound proofing and flooring noise reduction is non-existent.

We lived at The Scott for a year and only left because we were moving out of state. If it wasnt for that, we definitely would have renewed our lease. Sara was always a pleasure to work with. Truly a memorable experience!
