This is by far the worse place in canton to live! The maintance will never show up, the hallways and the laundry rooms are always filthy! Snow removal is a joke and the sub-division dumps their trash here and it ends up all over the property and now they allow pit bulls...
Do not move here unless you want problems. I am a current resident, and I've had enough. I just walked around our complex at night, and *EVERY* porch has lights out. A few porches have *ALL* it's lights burned out. This was an issue brought up with maintenance back in late Summer, and while some bulbs had been changed, it's clear they didn't do more than apply a band-aid. It's icy, wet and not totally dark in front of some buildings. This is your winter living if you choose to live here. Never mind the tardy snow removal. It took 3 days to have the last large snowfall cleared away in the parking lots and sidewalks. Unacceptable.
And it's not just winter months you need to worry about, it's the Bedford Square/Kaftan use of the 3rd party water billing company AUM. Never heard of them? Look them up, a total nightmare. You can look forward to water and service fee added bills each month from $60 to over $100 on top of your rent payments. And you never know what you bill will be, we just had bills of $80, $93, $99, $101 and $64 these last few months since Summer. My parents don't even pay that in an entire year living in their own home.
Other things you can't count on, a clean garbage area. Yeah, residents need to keep up things on their end, but contractors, move-outs and others leave large piles of garbage and it will remain for weeks sometimes because maintenance and management don't care to clean it up. Don't expect clean lobby areas in buildings, the once weekly cleaners don't seem to come around any longer.
I almost forgot the worst of it, there's *NO* office on the property. There's no manager, there's no maintenance on hand. You have an issue? You have to call and hope that they answer or their voicemail box isn't full. Then wait until they find time to come over from Ann Arbor to fix the issue.
It's a joke, and not a funny one at that. Best advice, *DO NOT* move here.
