CABLE MILLS involves the revitalization of three historic mill buildings on a nine-acre site in Williamstown, Massachusetts that, when completed, will transform these former industrial buildings into the quintessential New England community. Nestled in the Berkshire Mountains, along the banks of the Green River, in the heart of the town of Williamstown, it will be a unique part of the fabric of Williamstown.
Cable Mills will be comprised of 82 new and renovated apartment homes -- a dramatic transformation from its past as a factory making wire and cable dating back to the post Civil War era. A variety of home types ? lofts, flats, townhomes and single-family style duplexes - will be created through both the adaptive re-use of the historic mill buildings and thoughtfully planned and designed new construction homes.
