Located on the former estate of Frederick Lothrop Ames in Easton, Massachusetts, Stonehill College was founded in 1934 by the Holy Cross Fathers in North Dartmouth. Intended for seminary use, the institution opened a Catholic College in 1948 to provide traditional academic education.
