I just moved in for two months and already regret so much. I've lived at many places in MA and this place is a bad renting choice. The building is very very bad at sound proofing, the worst I've even seen. My neighbor upstairs walk very heavily. Every of their steps shakes my apartment. Not just noise, it's shaking. My table, chair and bed all shake. It's very irritating and frustrating even during daytime; image how you fall asleep at night like that. The management office doesn't like communications. They are rude. Even when I talk on the phone with them, they keep cutting me and they blame me for cutting them. They don't want to hear you talk. They want you to shut up. They are also very strict on non-sense policies. Even if being a little flexible can benefit both the landlord and tenants, they wouldn't do that, just to leave you suffer a miserable life. What's more scandalous is they ask tenants to submit good reviews to exchange for a free pizza slide or cookie, which is ridiculous. To be fair, the maintenance people are generally nice and take care of things effectively. The location is convenient, right by route 9, close to restaurants and stores. The neighborhood in Shrewsbury is pretty good overall, but there are many places in this area to rent. I will move out, although they'll charge me a lot. You always pay for a lesson, right? I hope other people won't have to pay to learn this.
Overall experience is good. The only reason to select Haynesfarm apartment over others is because Dryer and washing machines are inhouse which was alaways my priority.
Hoever the rate at which rent is incremented last year make me worry whether i can continue with this apartment.
I was initially staying in 2bhk but the rate at which rent is increase I had to shift in 1 bhk.
also postboxes and trash bin is centralised so it is hard in winter to check mail boxes and dump trash.
Other than these problems this community is fantastic.
The Commons at Haynes Farm is a secure and respectable community at a prime location providing many amenities. You can always depend on the staff to be helpful and friendly at all times.
A family friendly place with much maintenance work to be done.
It is a family environment and the policies should reflect the best way possible to maintain the image
