You cannot beat the location and square footage you get for the price! Extremely quiet neighbors, clean and spacious apartments, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Plenty of parking, the grounds are always mowed/plowed, newer washer/dryer in each building. It's a nicely wooded complex, so even though it's off of Rte. 9, you can't hear a thing! Plus it's right next to a lighted intersection so you can choose to go East or West on Rte 9 without driving to find a place to u-turn. Unbeatable price for the area.
I was charged $240 for carpet stain damage that was present before moving in. I was refused to talk to GM for more info after my complaint. No answer. Sovereign & Saxony Apartments, which owns Imperial Village Apartments I moved into Imperial Village Apartments 8/2/18. I toured the apartment at 5pm in which I took many photos of the unit to show the condition (with dates/times). I took photos of damage on the carpet that were present before moving in. I provided a $500 security deposit for the apartment. On 7/15/19, a final assessment was completed in my apartment, before my lease ended, which showed a carpet stain. This "damage" was not reported to me or disclosed to me at all. When my lease ended on 7/31/19, I was charged for the damage of the carpet for "dying the carpet" for $240 of the existing stain. Upon my receipt of the move-out, I was provided a quote of the damage and receipts. Between 7/31/19 and receiving my move out packet on 8/29/19 (29 days later, less 1 day of Mass law), I was not notified of any damage until I received it. I was provided photos of the "damage" in which I was provided a before blurry image, and photo pointing to the stain that was present on my move-in date - never after images. I sent said photos in my formal complaint and requested photos of previous tenant move out & both were denied. If they are confident in their findings, why can't I be provided documentation of my money being used fairly and accurately? Why can't I be provided photos and images of the unit before I moved in, which would prove to me that these photos were already present? Why is all of this information hidden from me, and when damages are done, I am not provided sufficient information to justify the repair? I have photographic proof this stain was existing before I moved out, which is what this apartment refuses to acknowledge.
Nice place (online only, didn't visit), but don't like the location on Rt. 9.
BUYER BEWARE. Rent is incredibly overpriced for this and other affiliated properties. Property Management uses deceitful and unethical and some cases illegal practices (like writing some of these embellished 5 Star reviews themselves). I had the misfortune of living at an affiliated property but they all have the same negative comments associated
WORST MANAGEMENT EVER.
MANAGER ANN MARIE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO TALK TO RESIDENT. ONCE YOU EMAIL THEM FOR UPDATE THEY NEVER REPLY. EVEN WHEN YOU CALL THEM, THEY SAY CAN WE CALL YOU BACK AFTER DAYS THEY DON'T REPLY TO YOUR CALL.
POOL THEY ARE SHOWING IN IMAGE IS NOT SAME POOL.EVEN KIDS CAN NOT SWIM IN THAT POOL. POOL IS MADE FOR BIRDS TO DRINK WATER.:)
