I received a response very quickly as I was interested in a one bedroom unit for my daughter that had been posted. Competition is high for these units. We made an appt to view and were imptessed. Units and pricing reasonable with heat included. Pool area was easy walk to unit and laundry near by. One car is free and additional parking space only $20 a month. Katie who showed unit was wonderful noticing items that should be taken care of before moving in. Overall a great experience! Commuter rail to Boston across streettoo. Plenty of walking spaces!
I absolutely do not recommend this property.
Pros: Great location, great price, quiet area.
Cons: Where do I begin? It's nearly impossible to get someone to fix any issues you have. We've had to wait until our kitchen was actually flooding before they sent someone to repair our dishwasher, which hadn't worked for months.
We've had 4 different property managers in 3 years. None of them have been able to spell properly and none of them have been professional in any way.
There is a pool (which is nice), but you have to jump through hoops to get permission to use it.
Did I mention the bed bugs? No? Well, neither did Kendall Crossing. We found bed bugs and informed management only for them to reply that they'd known for months and never warned residents.
Long story short, this place is ideal for commuters and the price is awesome. But you truly get what you pay for. Do yourself a favor (if you can afford it) and look elsewhere. If you decide on Kendall Crossing, the money you save on rent will be spent on replacing your furniture due to an ongoing bed bug infestation.
