Terrible place to live. Cheap building, thin walls, broke elevators

Rude staff. They have an employee that works there that tries to bully you. Imagine you complain about something wrong in your apartment and the management office treats you like you are the problem.

Move in: you have to idle your truck with someone in the truck so you don't get a ticket or towed. The alleyway and service entrance are littered with garbage and it smells of urine. I was informed my key would be ready at the front desk at 8am, but there was a mix-up, and I had to wait for the leasing office to open and for them to find my key. Doormen: Max is the best. Unfortunately, the rest of the week, the other doorman/"concierge" (not sure what this man's name is) seems annoyed that you ask about a package and then when he finds it, walks past you, handing you the package without looking at you. You can be as polite and nice as you want - he does not care. One time he couldn't find my package, so I dug through boxes of packages and found my own. This is what they call "mailroom service". Emergency response: I blew a fuse recently, which caused my entire apartment to lose electricity. The doorman (the rude one) said "are you sure you paid your electricity bill?" I then called the Hamilton Company's emergency line and they told me to call the power company. I finally got in touch with Earl (bless him) and he came and fixed the fuse right away. Early is the man, but he's stretched across six different properties. Laundry: There is one washer and one dryer on each floor ($5 for a laundry card, $3 per wash, $3 per dryer, so you know). The dryer on my floor has been out of service for about a week. I tried to use it once, and it ate my $3. I went down to the leasing office, and not only could they not reimburse me on the spot, but the woman said she could "maybe" reimburse me via my next rent bill. Unit: there are outlets that do not work, and the windows look frosted for how dirty they are. The screens need to be re-meshed. Because the building is surrounded by tall buildings, the apartments get very little natural light. Bottom line: the service of this building is non-existent.

I have not even been here for 1 week and there have already been two different incidents where leasing agents have unlocked my door with their key without notice and almost giving me a heart attack. I confronted them the first time and was assured it wouldnt happen again only to have it happen the very next day. Theres also a line of unhoused people right outside the apartment every morning, so i cant leave without being confronted. It does not feel safe to live here.

They will let people visit your apartment every day like it's a museum starting around two months from the end of your lease. You will feel no sense of privacy at all. You can expect no sunlight and a lot of noise too. --From a current resident

Im sorry for my comments. I found either its washing and drying machine is not working in 9 th and 7 th floor for almost two months according to complained not attached to the machine so I cant do the laundry. I found it unacceptable and unfair for the renter. And the elevator is sound scary like almost out of order pretty soon. Room condition Id fine, only that you need to carry a tiny heater Between living room and bed room. And the water in the bathtub was drained slower while im Shower.
