We chose Cedar Gardens because of their acceptance of pets. The dog park is excellent (although the grass could be maintained more consistently.)
The staff here are great! I've been in this development for 4 years. Sometimes maintenance will see me taking my trash out and will just grab it and take it to the dumpster for me to save me the walk. Staff is always friendly. Very nice family oriented community!
The Garden Apartments and very large and have a great layout. I love the apartment but the management need improvement. Everyone is very friendly and I believe try very hard to me helpful. This being said from the point that I was reviewing my lease (should have been my 1st clue) there have been a sign or lack or information and transparency by the management team. The things not disclosed to me were:
1. You have to pay a fee to for a reserved parking space if you want to ensure that you will have a spot when you get home.
2. There is a fee for trash, gas, boiler, water and sewage. You should be prepared to pay an additional $100 in fees to be safe.
The maintenance team while again very polite is adequate at best, and while there is an effort made to pick up trash/litter everyday there is a general lack or real effort in the appearance of the property. There is a separate residence services office, which is thought was an amazing idea. However they never answer the phone or return your calls. This makes any problem you have that much worse. So for your $$, I feel you should be warned that this is not a property the reflects the about paid for rent Which is actually a little high but I figures for the space it would be worth it but I received must better service and amenities from lower priced (smaller) apartments.
