      I will not move here at all. Bad place to live, they take section 8 so low-life people move here. Parking is a huge problem. No dog park . No luxury at all. Rent is high to 1,800 and not worth it.

      I wouldnt suggest living her I had numerous problems, constantly calling the office for things that needed fixed in our apartment. Then we had a huge leak in our ceiling that the never once came to fix after I called 5 times . Along with the fact that there was never any parking and I had to park by on the hill by the playground so glad I got out of there !!

      I have lived at the Brookmeade apartments for 5 years now. At first it was great...but it has gone down hill very quickly, to the point that I can't wait to move. First, the information on this website is outdated. Rent for new residents has increased to the lowest possible cost being 1,000 per month for the 3rd floor (2nd and 1st floors are more). The management company as a whole has also started to make tenants pay for water &sewer (no longer included in the rent). This was on my lease renewal, and I have a friend that lives at another property manged by them, and it was on theirs as well. There is dog poop everywhere, and one the trash bins is always overfilled. Instead of walking down to the next dumpster that has room, people just leave the trash sitting in front of that dumpster; and then the garbage people don't pick up it since it's not in the dumpster. The hallways are not carpeted, so everything echos in the building. It is extremely noisy; especially if you have neighbors with dogs or kids (good luck getting a building that doesn't have either of these). The "view" that they are brag about would be the trees that surround the complex. I live on the third floor, and like I said, when I moved in it was nice. This view has become absolutely disgusting. There is trash all over the property and in the bushes; some bags are even hanging off the trees. There are cigarette butts everywhere, and behind my building there are plastic bags of dog poop just sitting on the ground. It's nasty. I've also had some issues with management trying to accuse me of not cleaning up after my dogs. They try to charge me a fine claiming that I haven't been picking up after them. I demand proof every time they do this; and of course they don't. have it because I do pick up after them. I recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

      Anytime and every time I went to the office to seek information about rental units, NOBODY was there!!I stopped by at least 5 times!! During office hours various days...Very disappointing!!

      I absolutely love it here ,good neighbors n I feel safe with raising kids as well I highly recommend this area to others as well
