The community here at The George is welcoming, friendly, and it provides a sense of home. We love it here! Our leasing agent (Yusra) and staff, provided ongoing support from the moment we walked in the door.
I been living in the george Apt more than a year, from the first day i moved here up to now i have excellent satisfaction as a resident. It's an excellent environment to call it home, the staffs,community all are very nice.
I would not recommend this apartment. The new management that took over last year doesn't have a clue about managing. By now they should get it together six months now (GreyStar). Not a good company to represent The George,such a beautiful apartment looking from the outside. No communication or residents etiquette. Not efficient in responding to residents concerns. Very insensitive and lack compassion and empathy. Property management,no diplomacy and ethical responsibility for their residents. Where is residents rights in this? Apparently non exsistence. For over a month the wifi and cable have been turned off in the common areas,such as the club-room,fitness,and lobby. There was no email notification or any signs posted to indicate cause of the interruption. To the best of my knowledge,the amenities are all included in the rent. This is so unfortunately that the residents have to succumb to this poor management. They take a very long for repairs even when you put in requests. They need to be booted out. The previous management was residents friendly. Not willing to offer reassurance to the residents as to why these things have been happening.
I'm wrapping up my second year lease, and things have severely gone downhill after the first year and Rhonda left as property manager. Packages are missing, the sanitary wipes in the gym take forever to be replaced (unsanitary), gym is not open 24/7, things in common spaces are always broken (e.g. Chairs and grill on rooftop). It also seems that good staffers (like tina and serita) keep leaving, and they replace them with temps or extremely rude people who should not be working with residents. The only good thing is that maintenance requests are completed quickly. All in all, the first year was good and worth the high cost. The second year is not worth it at all, and I'm glad I'm not renewing my lease for a third year.
Love the staff (front desk and custodial); love the amenities; don't love the Target/Costco carts in hallways, the smoke smell, and my neighbor's thumping bass stereo vibrating my walls. Community life is never perfect, though.
