I decided to look at Ruxton Village because of the great Keelty reputation. The apt is very spacious, maintenance is quick to address any concerns, the property is well maintained, the parking is easy and the location is super.

This is old, three story apartments. On the first floor there is a trash storage room, so there will be some bad odor issue. The other problem caused by this, is mouse infestation. You will have a continuous fight to keep it under control. They have contracted ORKIN, but they just drop traps in front of your door. The rest is on you. You will never get rid of them completely, but if you do nothing there will be an army of them. You will need to vacuum a lot of their excrements. If there is a neighbor above you, there will be a problem with noise (kids will make it a nightmare). Every tenant required to cover 80% of the floor with carpets. It DOES NOT help. The ONLY good thing about this place is Elementary School. Riderwood is great. We went through all of this just because of the school, but finally gave up.

I have lived here for a year. I love this apartment. It is so quiet and peaceful. You can hear a pin drop in my building. Maintenance is very responsive to any problem. I've never had to wait for a response past the same day. The grounds are kept immaculate. Snow removal was good as well.
