I have been living as a resident for many years. There were frequent water leaks and stove top burner breakages during these years, but the management always came to fix it in a timely manner, up until recently with the management change. Ever since the Knights bridge apartments became the Centre at Silver Springs, the management is slow to respond to any situation. Stove top goes out, so I make a phone call. It would take many weeks, nearly 1-2months before someone finally shows up. They would say that they need to order some parts and come again in a few days. Didnt show up. Took another 2-3 weeks before it became fixed. It was similar for every maintenance problem I would call in for... When I complained they said that because the management changed they were a bit understaffed at the moment. Fine. I'd reluctantly let them pass. Many months later, half my stove top doesnt work, kitchen faucet is leaking tremendously. But for months they wouldn't send someone. Next during this waiting period my darn ceiling cracked a huge hole spontaneously with water flooding the room periodically along with the boiler room being flooded, but they still couldn't get anyone to check up on it during the normal work day. If I hadn't make an emergency maintenance call once the office closed, I'm sure that they still might not have sent someone over. But once someone came to check on the condition briefly, they said they'd send some contractors over to fix the dry wall and whatever else the problem was. They said they might have the family stay out at a hotel while construction goes on. Sounded like they meant some business. Been over a week since then and I haven't heard from them. Made repeated phone calls, but dont show up. Btw, my kitchen sink and stove burners still weren't fixed when they came over. I can't believe I pay $1,500 just to live in this kind of place. Unless you're confident you can fix your maintenance issues yourself, I don't recommend living here.
Management does a poor job of communicating and returning calls in a timely mattter. They also show little empathy when they mistakes they make cost me time and money.
I dont even know where to start. We have lived here for more than 10 years and with each management change things have gotten worse. This review deserves ZERO stars. We have been without a working washing machine for nearly 8 months now. We have water leaking from the ceiling in various places and dampening the carpet. Water leaks happen periodically. No permanent solution seems to have been found. There is mold growing on the walls and the ceiling. Nothing has been done about it. The sink disposal has not been working for a few weeks now. Nothing has been done about it. The master bathroom bathtub has a hole in the bottom of the tub for the better part of a year now. Nothing has been done about it.. The toilet in that bathroom doesn't work, it's been more than two years. Nothing has been done about it.. There are holes and cracks in the walls letting pests in. Nothing has been done about it. The stove has two tops that dont work and there are signs of rust. Nothing has been done about it. The closet doors come off the hinges . Nothing has been done about it. Our front door knob is falling apart.
Maintenence is understaffed and overworked. Management says there are so many tickets ahead of us. How long are we supposed to wait? Would we be wrong for not paying rent?? The dumpsterd and recycling bins are always full and overflowing. This is ridiculous!!
I wish I could choose -0 star. Never move into this place. I'm a current resident there and the new management is the worst. They do not care about the residents. When things need to be fix even if you call them million times they will not come to fix it. This is summer times and my air conditioner has not been working, though I have been calling million times the office and their emergency line nobody showed up to fix my a.c. and it is very hot. They do not care an ounce about us resident living here. I can't wait for my lease to be up so I can get out of this place. With all I pay for rent, I can't happily live in my apartment. I'm so disappointed by this management.
I hate living on this property. Management is terrible. the staff in the office are all friends so they pick up for each other. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. it is infested with roaches and rats.
