Do not live. There continues to be on going construction in the building which causes a ton of issues and management is not accomadating in any way. Construction workers continue to enter apartments even after the unit has been "completely renovated". I was forced to leave my apartment by management and construction workers for the majority of a working day. Elevators are slow due to construction workers and will continue to be slow as they are replacing one elevator at a time which takes about 6 months per elevator (total of 4 elevators). Management is not responsive to maintenance requests (took then 2.5 weeks to fix my broken hvac unit in my apt and they only fixed it because I took off work that day and refused to leave the management office until they got heat to work in my apt again). Leasing office is rude and unfriendly.
The level of incompetence here will be hilarious when I look back at it a few years from now, but it is not hilarious now. My friend says I must be living in some exaggerated parody of bad apartment life. Im omitting details to keep my privacy, but suffice it to sayI do not recommend Alexander House.
Also-Elevators take FOREVER. Sometimes over 15 minutes when residents need to get to work. This is a huge problem because (1) many residents are in wheelchairs and (2) none of the stairwells connect to the ground floor in any way that allows you to get to the street. You can come out behind the dumpster in the loading dock, or in a field of mud and broken glass. This problem has been even worse since they took one of the four elevators out of commission last week to renovate it. It has been sitting there for a week not receiving any renovations.
Excelente leasing service!
