Pros: 1. Great location; 2. Professional office staff. Cons: 1. Noise. Noise. Noise. 2. Apartment complex accessible to anybody. 3. Laundry rooms are like dungeons, and they're not in every building. 4. Amenities for children but not adults (e.g. no gym, tiny pool) 5. Tiny kitchen with no microwave or dishwasher. 6. Straight from the 1960's.
Overall, I did not like living here. Not a day went by when I couldn't hear the people from the apartment below mine (except when they were away for a week-and-a-half) because the walls were as thick as paper. I might as well have been living in the same apartment as them. I could hear every snore, every whining baby, and every conversation. I could even tell whenever the husband and wife were having an argument! If they turned up the TV volume a bit, my walls would start vibrating. It was so irritating and routine that I knew when they were away on vacation. Doing laundry was quite a chore every single time because the laundry rooms are not in every building. There are amenities for children but not for adults. If you want to use a gym, you'll have to pay for the Gold's Gym across the street or some other gym. The apartment complex is in a great location, but a great location is not unique to Woodmont Park Apartments. The one thing they have is a very good office staff, which people can't always find. However all in all, that was not enough to make my experience at Woodmont Park Apartments a good one. I just could not stand being able to hear everything - literally EVERYTHING - that happened from the apartment below. There were times when I would be woken up in the middle of the night because of commotion that was happening in the apartment below mine. It might be a nice place for families with small children, but I just cannot bring myself to recommend this apartment complex to someone.
While right off a busy street this complex seem very well maintained and I would consider living here. The landscaping is high quality and gives an escape of green space within a busy city. There are lots of restaurants nearby as well they offer good choices of food.
"Consider the apartments at Woodmont Park in Rockville, MD if you need a new place to call home.
Street lights keep the area bright, so you can feel secure walking the area at night. The complex has a parking lot for residents, so street parking isn't something you have to deal with every day. Unfortunately, there can be heavy traffic in the area at times. Enjoy the tree-lined streets as you stroll through the area around your apartment community.
