New Mgt- everything being renovated- might get towed

I toured Inigo Crossing on Thursday March 18th. The community is undergoing construction and many of the amenities are closed (probably due to COVID as well) so you really can't get a feel for all it has to offer. I had a 4:30pm appointment. I waited for about 15mins, for Brian who was running late (Strike 1) I was attracted to the community based on the upgrades I came across on-line, the loft units, as well as what I thought was competitive pricing. I mentioned this prior to our tour. I saw two units (2bd no loft), but will focus on the the 3bd. The 3bd.. I was shown did not have any upgrades (Strike 2). The formica countertops looked cheap and the cabinets (color similiar to the lighter brick on the exterior of the bldg.) and black appliance combination were a disappointment. Granted, it was spacious, aesthetics are EXTREMELY important to me. He tried to sell me by stating that eventually that unit would be upgraded. In the same breathe, he said updates were being made on units that were being moved out of. His statements were contradictory, I begin to feel like he was trying to entice me to rent the unit, knowing that it wouldn't be upgraded while I was an occupant. (Strike 3) I was told there would be a unit available, with the upgrades, by my move in date, April 1st. I was encouraged me to begin an application and he would call corporate to confirm pricing. He never called. I left a message Friday afternoon. It's been two days and nothing (Strike 4). I went online and the unit we discussed will not be available until 10 days after I would need to move in. I'm not sure if leasing agents receive a "credit" when applications are started/submitted, but this was a waste of my time. I understand the staff is new, however; if this is indicative of what to expect once you sign a lease, Good luck future residents. Side note: I was told (not by Brian, someone else in leasing) The transfer fee is $1000 to discourage tenants from transferring apartments.

Units are not clean upon move in, you won't receive a mail key for months, your car might get towed, the halls smell funny, the neighbors are loud, the office staff are entirely unresponsive.

I am leasing the most wonderful apartment in the area, with so much light and a marvelous view. Some updates need to be done in my 9th floor like painting the elevator area and walls around that area. The Manager Kelly is just what we needed to make a final idea of what we wanted, she took us with incredible patience to every area of the building and help us in every step of our leasing paper work. We are looking forward to spend some prime time during this times, having our ESA dog with us and enjoying so much of this building.

Great place to live. Building and grounds are well kept and location is convenient.

This is a great community. The front desk person is always kind and helpful, the building has great security, all the apartments are being upgraded really nice. This is a great place.
