I recently moved to the Ashberry from Annapolis and I love it here. I decided to write a review because I am so happy with my apartment. Myself and my wife live in one of the largest 1 bedroom apartments I think its the Huckberry, it is fully remodeled everything is brand spanking new, we have vaulted ceilings, on the top floor which is the second floor so its the 'Penthouse suite' we joke, but due to the size of our building we only have 3 other neighbors one across from us and 2 below which is absolutely amazing no noise AT ALL, no traffic passing the hallway its a dream come through. Not to mention our amazing balcony that overlooks a peaceful forest full of nature its so relaxing to sit out there after a long day at work.
Our apartment has hardwood floors throughout and carpet in the bedroom which is nice, our counter tops are white marble, cabinets are dark wood and all our appliances are highend GE appliances in brushed steel. Oh did I mention the gigantic bathroom, it has huge counter space with 4 large mirrors and an abundance of storage space.
We love the amenities also, the pool is great (closing on Labor day nooo), the gym is modern and even has a SAUNA!!! There is a car care area which is great and its free. They even have a large doggie park, which is great for our pooch to run wild.
The staff are so helpful and go above and beyond to take care of our needs, anything you need they are on it, the maintenance personnel are the best they literally have what you need done the day you put in your maintenance request.
Our neightbors are great too, being in the Marines myself i was pleasntly surprised to find alot of military personnel living here, in particular the coast guard and a lot of Baltimore police and some state troopers so i knew we were in great company!!
I have to say I am so happy we decided to move to the Ashberry.

I lived at the Ashberry from June 2016 - June 2017. Getting into the apartment was a breeze and I moved into one of the 3rd floor Teaberry apartments (2BR, 2BA). The apartment was perfect. The kitchen, living room and bedrooms were generously sized. The bathrooms also had plenty of space. The balcony was a wrap-around balcony (more of an L-shape)and it had so much space for entertaining and an extra storage closet. The apartment also had a fireplace, which was perfect during the winter months. Parking was never really an issue, even during the holidays. I have a smaller sized dog and he LOVED the dog park. Everyone at the dog park is very courteous when it comes to how their dogs interact with other dogs. There's plenty of dog waste cans around the property, so there's really no excuse to not pick up after your dog. Overall, I had an excellent stay at the apartment...that is, until it was time to move out.

I gave notice towards the end of April 2017/ early May 2017 that I would be moving out of the apartment. I was going through the process of purchasing my first home. I was then given a sort of check sheet just to make sure that I had taken care of everything. I moved out on June 9th and did my final walk through with someone from the office. From the time that I gave my notice until the move out date, I scrubbed my apartment from top to bottom - the rooms, walls, shelves, drawers, windows...I got it all. I was already told ahead of time that my apartment was going to be fully renovated (replace carpet with hard wood, reno the kitchen, screen the balcony...)and that I could only be charged for paint. I still made sure that all bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces were all sparkling clean to ensure that I could take home the maximum amount of my deposit ($350). I did my final walk through on June 9th 2017. I was told over and over again, how I had gone above and beyond to maintain the apartment. I was told I would receive my invoice with my refund within the next
