Rent is very expensive to have slow maintence response, mice here and there and no fitness ctr. Also, parking is terrible if u live on Kingstree Rd. I ve heard of a 35$ yearly increase. But almost 75$
Doncaster Village is located in a nice residential community. Great elementary and middle school (Pine Grove) is located across the street from the development. Close 695 beltway, Towson and White Marsh. Local shopping center, banking centers, and several grocery stores nearby. Lovely pool area, with special gated splash pad area for young kids. Leasing office offers activities for the residents: wine event, ice cream day, Easter egg hunt for the kids. Staff is friendly, maintenance crew
Complex is undergoing a massive renovation. A bedroom apartmentsare being outfitted with GE stackable washer/ dryer in each unit. Having lived through this experience, it has been a nightmare and a blessing. Dust everywhere! Contractors, plumbers, and electricians coming in and out of your unit over a period of 3 weeks. You have no set schedule of what days they will enter your apartment, except on the first day of demolition, and the delivery date for the appliances. Cheap materials used for the renovation, paint on the floors, dry wall compound on the floors, and a huge (eyesore) new circuit box installed on one of the main walls in the living room. You can't cover the box with art work, paint it or block it, because it dominates the entire room. Oh, and guess what you'll be paying for the renovation with a rent increase of 75.00 per month. I appreciate CRC's effort to make improvements, but I really wish the residents had been provided with a quality renovation. The money used for the reno could have been used to provide a security system for our front doors. Currently their are no safety measures on the property other than lighting.The money could have been used to give us a new club house with a gym. Money could have been used to install new washers and dryers in our existing laundry room in the building. The money could have been used to purchase additional trash dumpster's to deal with the constant overflow of trash in the receptacles. Love the new machines, hate Reno!
Do not move in here. They raise the rent every year just to decorate the outside of the apartments and the inside looks a mess. Leasing never answers the phone when you call. When you go into the office everyone is always in a meeting. Have contractors coming in building to do work and the office does not give you a heads up until the day before. They just shut the water off without warning when I was in the shower.
Here is the real and honest review about this place. I work at White Marsh area and were looking for something closer to work and cheaper 2 bedroom apartments. Its true they have cheapest options available. But you get what you pay for. Really old buildings and old apartments. Dont buy their story about new washer and drier. They will sacrifice the storage room or your closet to put them in and in process contractors mess up the whole apartment while they are doing it. I have submitted application for myself and my wife for $60 around August 20th, 2017. I got approved and they have sent me the welcome letter about things I should get it done before move in. But deposit they were asking was first month rent. I was shocked since my credit is really good and my rent history is good. My rep Amber told me that she cant do anything about it since its third party company who does the credit check. I called up that company any they have sent me the same report they have send to Doncaster which clearly states that $350 SUGGESTED AS DEPOSIT. Well suddenly after I knew what was going on Amber told oh maybe its because your wife doesn't have good history, but my wife only occupant and not main applicant. Then she said oh I talked to my manager and she told me its going to be $350. as you can see they were going to take more money from me if I have not contacted third party company. Manager Alisha Covington wont even talk to you directly, she thinks she is running a big corporation. And Amber Gantt doesn't know what she is doing or talking about.
The staff here is excellent. The people at leasing office are very friendly and incredibly helpful. I have lived here for nearly two years and I have enjoyed my stay here. The apartments are wonderful and you can never here the neighbors. I have been very happy here.
