Im in the last couple days of my one year lease here and this is by far the worst place Ive ever lived in my entire life. Before even entering the apartments you will be greeted by trash covering the outside, and completely everflowing dumpsters because somehow the residents here cant seem to grasp that trash goes in the dumpster not outside it. The walls are paper thin and during my first couple weeks here all we heard was our neighbor below us screaming and saying he wanted to kill everyone. We talked to our neighbors and they all have mouse infestations, but luckily we have cats and only found one dead mouse in our apartment. Because of the mouse infestation theyve come to our apartment 3 times this year to inspect for mice and that doesnt include the other 4 inspections that they had to do. God forbid you have to call the administration office for anything, because they will give you the biggest attitude youve ever heard. The price is a little cheaper than other apartments in the area, but it sure shows. I have been counting down the days since I moved in until my lease is up. Oh and my first week here the bathroom water didnt work and it took maintenance forever to fix it. The kids that live here have no supervision and go around pulling the fire alarms causing fire fighters to have to turn it off, and they run around screaming and destroying things. They also play in the parking lot near the cars and Ive seen cars be hit by the Childrens toys. The real icing on the cake is the notice we got about yet another mouse inspection where they will be putting chemicals in our apartment just a couple days before we move out, we have cats yet they dont respect that these are harmful to our pets.
I am very happy to live here, everything is perfect, that sits the apartment or the city, security, cleanliness, calm, really there is nothing to say, the neighborhood is friendly, I work hard but when I go home I said I can rest Because there is nothing that bothers me not a sound is great
Howard Crossing Apartments in Ellicott City is a great place to live. The location is perfect, you are literally less then 5 minutes away from so many different businesses. The community is large, but well maintained. The grass is always cut, the trees are trimmed and I loved the flowers during the spring time. The apartment floor plan for someone living alone is perfect. It's the perfect amount of space for the price given. Whenever I had an issue, no matter big or small, it would always be taken care of by the time I got home. The pool is a perfect place to relax and the fitness center has some of the basics, incase you don't have time to go somewhere else. Overall, I am content with my living experience here.
Neighbors are loud, walls are paper thin, management's been out of the office most of the time I'm emailed them. Definitely would not recommend. Save yourself.
Do not live here.
