Carleton East offers you the best of two worlds. There is the lush, green landscaped community with a suburban feel, yet it's located just minutes from downtown Washington D.C. Here you'll find garden style apartment homes with spacious layouts, modern kitchens and bathrooms, large light infusing windows and private balconies. Our beautiful community is also convenient to local business, NASA, the University of Maryland, Greenbelt National Park, 495/I-95, the Baltimore/Washington Parkway and the Metro. All-in-all, it's a wonderful place to come home to.
This was very helpful, quick and easy!
This place is horrible I've been here since 2016 and can't wait to leave the parking policies is ridiculously stupid and always overcrowded my apartment floors is sinking in and makes a lot of noise I call and complain about it twice and nothing was done some days we have no hot or cold water for hours this place is very old the only good thing about it the apartments are spacious inside and the kitchens were renovated I've found a couple of bugs crawling around like roaches but maintenance was very promptly on that issue it's May 24th 2018 and we have no AC management send out notes saying the system is broken and is under repairs and we may have to wait until June 2nd for AC it is 85 degree outside and will get warmer throughout the week that system needs to be replace not repairs it's old and outdated the complex is normally clean but it's loud at times all they're care about is money your discomfort an inconvenience does not matter to them as long as you pay your rent.
MICE MICE MICE MICE MICE MICE MICE.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. THERE IS A SERIOUS RODENT PROBLEM. I moved immediately. I caught 8 mice in 2 weeks and multiple were caught in single days. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I like the property but the staff isn't really helpful. We about 12 families went there and had inquiries about the rent and lease never found them cooperative.
Warning Warning Warning! Living here is miserable. AC does not work. Apartment has very old heating and cooling system, basically one central unit controls the heat/AC for all the buildings. You can either have only one, AC or heat at any given time. In the winter, they cut off all AC and turn on heat until May 15. So if there're any hot days during the winter up until May 15 - of which there were many this year, you pretty much endure it. I had to transfer my mattress and sleep in my living room under the fan. Worse still, when May 15 came, they turned on the AC, but it doesn't even work. It's 85 degrees inside my apartment right now at midnight. They don't even tell u this when you move in.
