Searching for possible new home. The apartments I've viewed so far have my approval.
How is it that this is the ONLY Morgan Property that make you pay for a mailbox key. As a new resident you suppose to receive your home key and mailbox key. No they tell you go to the post office pay $40 for a key. Its not listed in the lease no where. I reach out to Ethel the property manager and she give a oh well attitude. They i reach out to the regional manager Rachel and the same response. How you treat new tenants that way. We are not responsible for what previous tenants have done.
I was greeted right away with a smile by a staff worker didnt get his name, the area I love , the apartment I viewed was nice. The young man that gave me a tour was friendly and professional . Pray that I receive a new home there. One more thing I did encounter happiness in the atmosphere
I signed my lease August 24th 2019, they is a clause where if i do not want to renew it will automatically renew my lease if I do not give a 60 day notice.
Due to the recent pandemic, i forgot to give them a 60 day notice 5 days late. I never saw the reminder letter until I came back home June 30th.(was suppose to give them the notice before june 25th)The next day july 1st, I called and emailed the office to notify them that I do not want to renew my lease since on the rental portal it was still saying my lease was still not signed and asking if I wanted to sign it.
I spoke to the asst property manager she notified me that my lease will be signed because I was suppose to have given them a 60 day notice by June 25th or before. I pleaded that the lease was still not signed on the portal and asked for a month to month but was told they don't have that. She then said I can buy out my new lease with a 30 days notice and still have to pay a full month rent for the penalty . The same day she automatically renewed my lease after we spoke.
I am just amazed at how I paid my rent every month no issues.. i had mice all over my new apartment..( they have pictures and videos) and because I was 5 days late to notify them i will not renew it. I try to plead with them . Left a message to the property manager and an email.. she never responded. The asst manager was not understanding at all. Very short..no compassion no care.
Everyone else was awesome -the book keeper was amazing was always so kind
Please if anyone can help me not to pay the 1150 because I forgot go give them a 60 day notice , 5 days late
