These are very well maintained and well managed apartment residences. Maintenance is quick and efficient. The apartment interior is nice and modern. All carpet interior. Personally I would prefer wood flooring in the little hallway that connects rooms together. The master bedroom is quite large. I have 2 vanities, a huge dresser, and a loveseat in it, plus a queen size bed and I still have ample space to move around my room. The master bedroom has a third vanity of its own with a sink and studio type lights. The bathroom is huge. Very big. With a huge mirror. I feel it might have been better if they had 'his' and 'hers' sinks since it's so big. The kitchen is moderate size, not too small and a small dinner table and chairs can fit in it conveniently. There are no bugs or mice etc. The neighbors are quiet and you can't hear much except if you stand by the door and hear people stomping up the stairs to their apartments. The pool is very well kept and so is the gym. It's safe to walk after midnight. There is always parking, so no need to squable over space. The ladies( just the ladies) in the leasing office are very very kind. I really like them and they are helpful. There are so many amenities, stores, huge lake to walk around, schools, restaurants etc. My only desire was for a bigger size apartment with more storage for the price I presently pay. I would say storage space is quite limited. I like living here. If I move it's for space reasons, to buy my own home or just to live even closer to work than I currently live. It's a nice place. You won't regret it.
we talked that day about apartment available on the first floor, you see some available in the future for us?
At first sight this complex seems like it is a good deal for the cost. Give it three to six months and you will start to see that while the apartments are spacious and the grounds are cleaned most of the time there are several issues...
1. parking is limited and you have to get home by 5pm to hope for a space that doesn't require you to walk across an entire parking lot in the dark.
2. you pay $50 to reserve a space that other people will use some days and the main office will tell you to call them about it between business hours, which leaves you struggling to find an empty space. To add to the issue the contracted tow truck company will not remove cars without the permission from the leasing office which is not open after 6pm.
3. the noise from the tenants above feels like you are right there in the room with the person.
4. the breezeways are garden style so
a. friends with wheelchairs cannot visit
b. other tenants who speak loudly or speak in the breezeway (which happens periodically) are quite loud
5. expect the leasing office to listen to your concerns and DO NOTHING ABOUT IT in addition to refuse to return your calls.
6. feel free to enjoy the small gym, pool, and free dog treats in the leasing office.
while I can tolerate living here, had i known about the lack of tenant support and issues with other tenants respecting space and noise levels I would have chosen another location.
I had an appointment for a showing today at noon.
My boyfriend and I arrived a little early and were excited about looking at the apartments since we had been shipping around for apartments for about a week. In other words, we kne what we were looking for.
The person sitting at the desk looked irritated that we showed up. I told him we had an appointment, and he barely moved out of his chair. The name on his name tag was Alex.
I told him we were in the market for a 2 bedroom unit. He asked about the bathrooms, I said I didn't care, and I don't.
He asked our exact moving in date, and I said around later October. He said they didn't have anything available that far out. I said I understood and asked to just are a unit, and he said he couldn't show us anything without an exact move in date.
Please know that by this time we had already looked at several apartment complexes, and no one else had a problem showing us what was available.
He was very rude and surly. I wouldn't want to live in a place that treats potential residents this way.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Poor customer care......Alex is very rude and so unbearable.
