The unprofessional staff here at The District of Forestville is sad and shameful. If you are behind on your rent the staff here mainly Victoria Branch will let everyone in your whole building know that you are late on rent by posting bright colorful eviction papers on you door for anyone to read. NO TYPE OF PRIVACY! I found a big red balloon and a notice on my door knob today. The balloon had EVICTION on it. That was very unprofessional and not to mention it was tacky and lacked taste. This is not something you should broadcast to the whole entire building. The terrible and very rude employees here will not stop at anything to shame the residents that fall behind on rent here. I do not recommend living here. The management changed but the old staff needs to go now.
I have been living here at Dustrict Heights at Fiestvulle for 10 years now. I have seen this place go through its phase of transformation. It use to be a time where you would want to rush home before dark to make it in the house safely. It was once a poor cut of beef and now its filet mignon. The property is beautiful . I would love to see my apartment appliances more updates like the renovated ones and painted, but other than that I absolutely love it here. No more slum lord owners! Yes! Thank you Jesus. Now the new property owners actually care about their residents and I actually like them.
Its okay. Ive been living here going on three years, and its just okay. The walls are paper thin I can hear everything and I have inconsiderate neighbors who plays music all hours of the night. When I complained to the rental office about my neighbors Im not sure if they did anything but at this point Im ready to move. Maintenance is another issue, they are not as swift as you expect them to be. My bathroom vanity door is broken(The screws are old and rusty, not my fault) and Ive put in about 5 request to get it fix and they keep closing the ticket. Parking is irritating too, its barely any but I have a reserved space that I pay $35 dollars monthly for and yet people constantly park in my space whenever they feel like it. AND last but not least roaches. They have gotten a little better with the problem, maybe its has something to do with the newly renovated units patching up holes where they potentially come from, but I still see them. And I keep my house CLEAN. My kitchen especially because roaches like food. I take my trash out every time I leave the house, I dont eat in my bed rooms,I constantly Vacuum any potential crumbs, I dont even have company so they are not coming from my unit. When I moved in its was cool because it was my first place and I was excited but after about 8 months I started to notice stuff, and Im not considering renewing my lease next year. I need peace, and I dont feel like with the $1400+ I pay a month that this is worth it. If I didnt have those problems I would love it here, and they seem(SEEM) to be trying to fix things under this new management. But Im kinda annoyed at this point because I pay my rent on time, I dont contribute to roaches, I park in my designated spot, and Im considerate of my neighbors below, above and beside me. I dont deserve this lol.
Just moved in, love the location, only thing is, I feel like I'm living with four different families in one apt. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything loud and clear. I have called several times for maintenance several times, as of yet ...no response.
