Dont not move here... I repeat DO NOT MOVE HERE. I've been living in my apartment for a couple months now and the people in the rental office have change every month. I've caught 6 mice so far in my apartment and I keep adressing my concerns to the rental office and it's always someone is going to be there to fix the problem and no one ever shows up. I was promised a new stove because I have mice living in my stove and everyone in the rental office has no clue what I'm talking about because the person I talked to no longer works there anymore. Now my tub is stopped up and someone was suppose to come and unstop my tub and again no one has came to check on it yet and it's been days. This is ridiculous and I'm tired of everything about this complex and the rental office staff. DONT MOVE AROUND HERE unless you want mice and a staff who dont care nor address your concerns in your apartment.
I moved here in August. I love my apartment it's very spacious. I love all the closets. I usually work most of the day and from what I've seen I do see "activity" outside, but nothing too major. I live on the back side of the complex where most of my neighbors work. So in the morning the parking lot is 80% empty, everyone minds their business. My only issue thus far is the service or lack thereof. As I mentioned, I moved here in August. When you move in they give you this repair worksheet to fix anything after you've moved in if need be. I noticed that my living room window was cracked. So I immediately went to the rental office to speak to Dante (who did my lease signing) he said "Ok I'll make a note of it and get someone out there..." Long story short, they fixed my window yesterday (10/20/2016). I sent my boyfriend down there to talk to them. This was like my 15th (no exaggeration) time going down there to get this resolved. After 3 months of living here, I think live already made my mind up about continuing to live here after my lease is up. It's very clear that they don't give a sh** about you, you're just a "check" they need to get by the 5th of the month. The office staff is very inconsistent. They don't answer when you call. Don't ever leave a message. The property manager Quincy seems very unprofessional and lied right to my face, after I paid my rent and asked him to send someone to fix my window. This is my first apartment after moving out of my parents home. But even still, I know this is not how a tenant is supposed to be treated. It's unacceptable.
I moved in on December 1st 2017, upon moving in I put in several maintenance tickets, to which none of them have been attended to. I am paying for an 'upgraded' unit (only thing upgraded is that I have a dishwasher) and the dishwasher doesn't even work. I have no screens in my windows, the washers in the building don't work, and my air conditioner has been out for 3 weeks now. the laundry room doesn't lock, so people smoke, drink and does who knows what else in there because its now an open room. I have called every day in reference to getting these issues, plus some fixed to which nothing has happened. When I called the leasing office last week I was told that they cant make the maintenance team do anything all they can do is remind them. I have been here almost 7 months and will not be renewing my lease. Only gave a star because I had to. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
I moved into my unit at REGENCY POINTE on March 16th and I am now at the 5-week mark. NONE of my maintenance requests have been addressed in a correct or timely manner. Before I moved in, I was promised a brand-new spa vanity mirror for the bathroom like the model unit. It would be ordered and should arrive by move-in. This conversation took place on February 26th. Do I have this promised mirror as of today, Tuesday, April 17th? No, I dont. The kitchen light blew out during my first weekend living in the unit. I didnt receive a replacement bulb until a week and a half later. These are basic items that a maintenance team should have in-stock or on constant re-order. There are huge gaps under and on the side of the entry door to my unit! I reported this to management during my first week here because I could foresee a pest issue. I am on the first floor. I have now caught one mouse and theres another running around. I have a 6-month old crawling son and I cant even let him enjoy the carpet that we were so excited to get. I do not want to risk him encountering a dirty rodent. I reported the pest issue on April 2nd and it was addressed on April 12th. However, the huge gaps are the contributing issue. These are issues that management and maintenance should be assessing and addressing to retain tenancy, which doesnt seem like a priority. So many times during my short time here, I have called to report issues and check status with no avail. So many times, I was told that someone was coming to my unit to address an issue and no one shows up. I called this morning to speak with the community manager and/or maintenance supervisor to work out an amicable solution; I was told that the manager is not available now and that the maintenance supervisor would call me. I have not talked to anyone yet. This is a matter of incompetence, inefficiency, negligence, poor communication and mediocrity within REGENCY POINTES management and maintenance team.
I'm not one that like making it hard for others, but I was told not to move here and didn't listen, my biggest issue is the maintence crew are horrible about responding and may not come at all, you have to keep calling and calling, it's like a joke. As far as the the office crew I have no problems except them messing up your paper work periodically.
