We love living at Ashton Woods. It is quiet and clean. Since we moved in there have been a lot of updates, including a dog park! The staff is responsive as well.
My family and I relocated to the DC, MD, and Virginia area from Florida. Coming from a nice 4 bedroom home in a nice gate neighborhood finding a affordable home became a challenge. So, we decided to take our time and find something to fit our need(s). The next issue was finding a apartment or rental home, and that became a bigger issue .... until we stumbled onto Ashton Woods. This property has allowed us the convience to get comfortable in a new environment and take our time to settle in.
Ashton Woods is a very quiet community, that is located close to everything in the area. There is plenty of parking near each building for residents and guests. I also feel very safe here. The community has recently been updated with two mini dog parks, and there is plenty of places to walk dogs. The surrounding neighborhoods are accessible by sidewalks, which is nice too. The interior of our apartment is updated and really spacious.
The grounds and staff are top notch. The apartment itself is laid out nicely, and fairly updated. My only real complaint is the noise from the upstairs neighbors. I don't know if this is consistent, as we are on the bottom floor and the rest of the neighborhood seems quiet, but our neighbors are extremely loud at all hours. I would probably recommend top floor.
Very nice community with friendly faces who were pleasant on move in day. Leasing officer Gabrielle was very helpful and got us a good deal on our apartment. Much nicer area than our former apartment in silver spring, with more convenient shopping areas around. easy access to route 100 and 95 for travel. Only downside is the traffic noise because our apartment buts up to the highway.
