I went in to the office to inquire about a 3 bedroom townhouse and the lady at the desk was very polite and informative about the townhomes and what was required to fill out a application. It was also another gentleman in the office as well that was very pleasant as well. Besides the townhome I viewed that was really beautiful I really want to move there because of the friendly atmosphere
Some of the homes are more updates than others and are not priced accordingly. You pay for extra perks per item such as a refridgerator, storm doors, an extra room devider wall in basement, extra toilet in basement (with no sink to wash your hands just an extra out house style cubical), dishwasher and or a washer and dryer. This is how it works, you pay for these items per item, in addition to the base price of all the homes. However, even though they are an additional cost added to the base rent price they are run down or some of the apartments have new bathrooms, some have very old out dated bathrooms. Some have beautiful hardwood floors in the kitchen others have ugly old linoleum tile floors like the basement. Some units get new appliances and some have worn old appliances that you are actually paying extra to have. One plus, they do let you look at each home that is available and pick the one that you like, so it's not like some rental communities in the area that won't let you see your unit till after you've signed the lease on your move in day. So, I found one I liked after going through about 5 available homes and was very excited. Went back to the office, did all the paper work handed over the money for the application and all of my proof of income and identity papers (minus my birth ceritificate, but they had my drivers license, S.S. card and pay stubs). It has been over 2 weeks and I have still heard nothing back from them, even though I have called twice. I have signed a lease elsewhere at this point because I want to be settled in someplace before Christmas, which I told them, so due to their lack interest they have lost a quiet responsible tenant.
