Chimneys is a safe and comfortable place with friendly staff and beautiful grounds, close to the bike path and the library, with a grocery store just half a mile walk away.

The apartment is lovely and well designed, the staff at Chimneys is friendly and kind, the maintenance people are responsive and knowledgeable. We've been here a year and it's been a great experience.

Chimneys is an older community in slowly deteriorating condition, but in fairness is well located and priced fairly for what is offered. The maxim you get what you pay for is relevant, and frankly I don't want to pay more, so I am generally content. Longer term, the community could be renovated and priced higher. I don't sense that intention around here. Aimco tends to sell under-performing properties to others. On the other hand, Chimneys does fill a market niche as it currently operates. I am not being critical. I chose Chimneys. However, it's important to be realistic and objective.

Yes , this company had issues with response to complaints. Today I can say with confidence they will respond promptly and will correct problems. They have grown tremendously. I'm very happy .
