My experience here at Bell Columbia has been the best! The staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful (planning community activities) . I love the location and how the grounds are kept very well. Maintenance provides excellent service in a timely manner. I love living here!!!!
I had a leaky faucet and maintenance came very quickly. They replaced the problem faucet with a nice new one.
To start things off I'd like to say that the staff at Bell Columbia are very nice and helpful. That being said a lot of what is done is either ineffective or used as misdirection. Our apartment has had the same sliding doors fixed too many times to count. Most recently our pantry was fixed and I bet my wife, tongue in cheek, that the door would break before we moved out, and the next day the pin used for sliding along the rails fell out once again. This has happened to almost all the sliding doors and we have stopped requesting them be fixed. The door to our storage area was marked by us upon moving as needing to be fixed, after countless tickets it was finally replaced a year later after we noticed mold beginning to grow not only on our items but on the dry wall. When I contacted Diana from the main office about this she stated she tells people not to use the storage area for this reason and that was the end of the conversation. Our dish washer is non usable due to mold constantly growing in it, we were told that we need to spray bleach through it when this happened and this was our regiment for a few months, spraying bleach biweekly until we gave up. Our washing machines smells of mildew and we were also told to spray a bleach through it and could wait to have it replaced the following month, we declined because we are moving out. Our hot water heater is good for maybe a 5 minute shower, the stove has 2 out of 4 un-usable burners. The burners have been replaced several times but the issue is that they cannot regulate temperature not that they don't turn on. I would go on but to save time, all appliances are old or just don't work. After our time at Bell Columbia we found a house and decided on moving out and breaking our lease early, when we brought all of these grievances to their attention hoping they would do the right thing and lessen the buy out penalty we were told it would not be reduced.
The community, quality of the apartments, responsiveness of the staff/maintenance , and location (with trails for my dog!) was everything I hoped for and I'm happy with my choice.
Our Resident Manager, Diane and her office staff are first rate, they are more than managers, they are caring family member!
