Alister Town Center Columbia may just be one of Columbias best kept secrets. Columbia Pike is just a stones throw from your apartment. With its great location, beautiful surroundings, its no wonder Columbia was ranked the #1 place to live in America by Money Magazine in 2016. Andwere giving each home the Alister once-over. That means newly-redesigned kitchens, vinyl wood flooring in select homes, quartz countertops with backsplashes, and stainless steel appliance packages.

Island Club Apartments does not provide good customer service. Their apartments do not Meet the standards of a luxury apartment. Would not recommend
Island club is a lovely community. More office staff would be appropriate to address renter needs however, as they are hard to reach by phone. Maintenence may require multiple occurrences to address issues as well, but are normally eventually addressed.
The size of unit and location of the property are good for the price you pay, compared to other communities nearby. However, in my experience, the staff did not properly handle my move-in (unit wasn't fully ready, communications were poorly handled, staff seemed completely unbothered by the situation and one is consistently rude), and there have been major inconveniences during the process of trying to correct the issues. To their credit, the maintenance supervisor did come out almost immediately to fix the issues or arrange for them to be addressed by an outside company. Still not perfect, but I guess nothing is with apartment living.
Been with Island Club about 5 years. I've been requesting updates to old cabinetry and appliances since that time...no help. Mgmt changes far too often, but I find the guy in the office to be kind, though overworked it seems.
Island club is great! Safe and quiet and in a great location. Moved in site unseen and was impressed with how nice everything was. Definitely the best place I have ever lived so far.
