For the price I'm paying, the apartment is a very good deal. I pay about $250 below market rate, as the Property Manager who was in place when I moved in offered me an awesome deal that I couldn't refuse. The apartment has wood (panel) floors, faux-granite coutertops in the kitchen and bathroom, and updated appliances/kitchen faucet. So, for the price, the apartment is a good deal.
However, there was a Property Manager switch this past summer, and the communication with the leasing office now is nothing less than atrocious. I recently wanted to receive clarification on the pet policy (as some buildings are pet-friendly and some arent...info I wasnt told when I moved in), and I left the current Property Manager 3 voicemails to speak on this issue, none of which were returned. Becasue it doesn't appear that she stays past 5 (even though the office is open til 6 each evening), and she doesnt work weekends, I then had to take a half day from work, so that I could come see her in person. She said that she might be able to offer me an apartment switch to a pet-friendly building, told me to check out the new building, and to email her with my thoughts. She also said she'd call me before she left for the day. I did as I was told (emailing her at 3 that day), but received no email back from her. At 5 that same day, I went back to her office, to find that she had left (without calling, as she claimed she would). I emailed her *again*....and to date, I have NEVER heard back from her.
It wasn't until I went back into the office the following week, after work, around 5:15 (she obviously had left for.the day), and angrily told the Asst. Property Manager that this treatment is absolutely unacceptdble, that I *finally* started getting some back and forth communication going....with the Asst. Property Manager.
I still have never heard back from the Property Manager, for either the emails nor the voicemails I have sent to her.
I love this apartment!!!Did have an issue with bathtub but they got it fixed right away.Everyone in the office are really nice.
