Mount Ridge

Good for the area, and very friendly staff when you sign the lease. However, don't expect them to pick up your phone call at the leasing office. I've called them 7 times in a row before it went through. Didn't experience any bugs, mice, etc problems while we were there. Maintenance was good when we first moved in, but at the end they'd mark things "Complete" without even coming to the apartment.

Apartments are spacious and maintenance is very quick to respond to requests. I have not experienced many bugs or mold and no mice. Distance to UMBC and shuttle access is a big plus. I am very satisfied with the apartment.

I would have rated them 0 if I had the choice. This place is the worst. First the maintenance staff does not respond to your request. We called and emailed them about the problem we have but they ignored it. When the people upstairs use their tub, their nasty and dirty water come into our tub. so I have to clean the tub everyday. the maintenance staff came and saw the problem but decided to ignore it. As of today we still have that issue. Second, this apartment does not have a dishwasher, the laundry is two blocks away, and the walls and celling are so thin you can hear the neighbors doing their business. It is becoming unbearable to live in this situations for the money we pay for rent. While the rent amount is increasing, the quality of life is going down.

We happened to get lucky and they had a unit left we could use. Recently moved in. Great find! Great people o work with and a lovely area.
