We've been living here in twin ridge for almost 5 yrs and we really love the place. There are so many things I love here. 1st is the safety, each unit has locked gate and each unit tenants has their own codes, once they move out their code will be deactivated. They do preventive maintenance on almost everything from timr to time. 2nd, they are upgrading and improving amenities, just last year they replaced all acs and heaters. 3rd, I love the staff, both office and maintenance. The management is very considerate and compassionate. Once we had a misunderstanding with one rental payment and they could Impose penalty on us but when I sent an explanation letter they immediately reconsider and waived the penalties. They will make moving out difficult but in a good way, you see I worry that not all management are as compassionate as they were. Maintenance staff are polite, they address maintenance issue acordingly. My likes and dislikes are: Safe and family friendly
First of all, let me start by saying that this managementy is AWESOME!!! They fix everything and anything that I need done either same day or next, and leave both a nifty note and email. The apartment is large and spacious, and I don't even know I have neighbors, it's that quiet. I feel completely safe going for a walk at 2 in the morning, if I need to! I am very happy I moved here!
Great community, and initially loved my apartment. However, over the past 3 months I've had 6 water leaks from my ceiling...Maintenance is always quick to respond, but this place just seems to be falling apart.
It's amazing that I have to pay a pet rent for my dog every month but all the mice in my apartment get to stay here for free!
The management did attempt to address the problem twice. First, they gave 2 days notice to empty every closet and cabinet and move every piece of furniture from the walls by Monday or we would be heavily fined. Good thing we didn't go away that weekend so we would see the notice! We still found baby mice squealing for their lives in the traps they set in our 1-year-old daughter's closet, indicating that the mice were not merely surviving but in fact thriving enough to continue reproducing.
About two weeks later there was a second attempt to address the problem. After painstakingly rearranging our apartment a second time, some gentlemen helped themselves into our apartment while my wife was showering.
Again, the mice survived. When we brought it up with management they told us that they will no longer be assisting us and we are personally and financially responsible for exterminating the mice ourselves. When it comes to enforcing their own policies (i.e., no smoking inside the building or stairwell, no using illegal drugs, keep your dog on a leash), the management here completely phones it in. They do not care. This is their pattern of behavior: when there's a problem beyond simple maintenance repairs (i.e., rodent infestation, insufficient parking for tenants, vandalism in parking lot, upstairs neighbor lets dog urinate on balcony and onto your furniture underneath), they make it your personal problem to deal with, including any and all expenses. Perhaps the worst crime in their minds is to make any extra expense on our behalf. It amazes me that a group of people who are responsible for offering us some level of support can be so thoroughly lacking in any integrity or moral fiber.
The Twin Ridge leasing office embodies apathy, immorality and failure. Please, please find somewhere else to live.
The pictures on the website do not look the same as when you actually go to the location. The apartment they showed smelled like dog and it was really really small for $1,100 a month I expected more. I was really disappointed by what was shown to us. We went from being really interested in moving in there to not even wanting to move there at all.
