Some of the fantastic benefits of living in Horizons House include a great location, utilities included in the rent, 24 hour desk service with controlled access, fitness center, and rooftop pool. The maintenance team is phenomenal and extremely responsive. The only downside is that although rent is very competitive, some of the living space features, especially kitchen and bathroom, are very outdated. However, overall Horizon House is a great bang for your buck when you consider all the benefits included in the rent.
I have lived at Horizon House for 2+ years. I find the service and staff to be extraordinary. The facility is clean and always kept in excellent repair. Residents are respectfully of each other and the overall environment is quiet. There are regularly scheduled social activities 4-5 times a year that are great mixers. A year ago I had an issue with an unwanted guest and the situation was handled in a highly professional manner. Finally, every year on my birthday I return from work to find a bouquet of balloons and and a card personally signed by the staff on my door. What a great way to make a resident seem special.
I've truly felt blessed that ever since I moved to Baltimore I ended up at Horizon House. It's conveniently located between the monument and Penn Station, and it's a short walk to get to either. There are great bars and restaurants nearby. Not having a car for 2 years, it was easy to get to other areas using the Charm City Circulator, city buses/light rail, amtrak/marc trains, zipcar, or Lyft/Uber. The management and maintenance staff go above and beyond and make you feel right at home. The amenities from the gym to the rooftop pool are a nice bonus. I've always felt safe in terms of the area and building itself, especially with the key card access. The affordability, convenience, and hospitality that Horizon House offers really makes me not want to live anywhere else.
Plan your future at Horizon House. It's the ideal choice for stylish, high-rise living with a midtown Baltimore address. What more can you ask for when a pool, fitness center and private covered parking are all resident accessible?
