Avalon 555 President

BLACK MOLD IS HERE!!!! Stachybotrys also known as "black mold" considered by some to be the most deadliest or dangerous mold is at Avalon 555 President. It is airborne in my "brand new" apartment home. Avalon has done nothing meaningful to immediately stop the indoor mold exposure in my apartment home. I do NOT trust Avalon and would recommend to never moving in here based on my living nightmare experience.

Don't bother applying if you're an international student or do not have a billing address situated in the US. I've been calling/emailing back and forth from their external and internal leasing office with the assumption that this unit I was interested in was still available. After talking to multiple people for this specific unit (2 by email; 2 last night by phone at their external office; 2 front desk at Avalon this morning; and 2 from Avalon's leasing office today) about how the online portal does not support an international (Canadian credit card), they finally sent me a paper copy of the application with billing details. Their email stated that my application would not go into effect until my application fee is paid (175$) through the mail, which by that time, any one online could have already processed their application - making all efforts to pay and apply to be useless. The last person I talked to actually checked to see if there were any pending applications for the unit I wanted when I asked about doing other payment methods (credit card manually or direct deposit to bank which they don't allow), and funny enough, there was already a pending application from last night. Not any of the 6 people I had communications with had let me know that. Massive waste of time.

I would look into other places. They do not let you use the amenities here. You cant go out and use the outdoor space.
