The Annex Luxury

I dont recommend living here. I liked my place until Sunday when the air conditioning went out. It has now been over 48 hours without AC, when it feels like 112 outside. Communication has been terrible and there is no follow up, forcing me to reach out hours later. 3 days into the issue and there have been no solutions offered and no explanations about what my options are other than to suffer in the heat. It is now 5:10 and I am planning my 3rd night in a row without air conditioning. Not a great experience for what I pay in rent.

I'm on a fixed income and I'm looking for an apartment for $600 or less

My wife and I have lived here for the past 3 years since relocating from NYC to NOLA. The experience in The Annex has been extremely positive. A few keys to this are: 1) safe, secure building right in the heart of the French Quarter. 2) location, location, location! Add on some great amenities, including a rooftop pool & reasonably priced parking. 3) building staff: Marelda in the leasing office; Cilia, our Property Manager; Janeth and Keith to help keep the building clean/address maintenance issues are always helpful and respond to issues in a timely manner. 4) lastly, friendly neighbors! The Annex is definitely worth checking out if you are considering moving to this area.

Although my opinion may be considered bias since I was the building manager for a while, I feel as if The Annex is one of the best kept secrets in the French Quarter! The tenants are great, an attached garage with assigned parking, superbly spacious floor plans, roof top pool and great location to everything that is New Orleans.

Beautiful place

Myself and my wife along with some friends have been leasing apartments at the Annex for a couple years now. I’ll say this is one of the absolute best and safest locations we feel. With the 24/7 on-site security team they have it down and do a great job. The roof top pool is fabulous along with small gym access makes it easy to get it all in a days time if you allow. Gated parking garage and security makes it feel much more secure and comfortable. Do your due diligence and shop around visit and tour but I’m sure you want find a more secure apartment with great little amenities.
