    Well maintained at all times. Friendly staff, very responsive to requests. Only improvement I can see needed is to have better phone coverage in the office - I usually have to leave a message & wait on return call. Otherwise, this has been the best complex!

    Poor management on top of an old complex. There are many other options in this area that are better maintained or new and are actually cheaper. If you opt to move in, be prepared to deal with poor customer service and errors in billing and failed obligations. Manager and assistant manager are disorganized and do not understand that the residents are the reason they have employment.

    I have lived at The Charlestonian for almost a year and the quality of the units are great. I also am quite satisfied with the maintenance team and management team.

    The Charlestonian is one of the best, affordable apartment complexes in the Country Club Rd/Nelson Rd area. The management is very polite and professional. I've had very few issues with my room and maintenance requests get resolved within 24 hours. The area looks very nice and is well maintained.
