should have taken heed when I came to view the complex and was told by the agent that she locked the clubhouse for the day and was with someone else but that I could wait outside in my car and she would come and get me when she was done (May in Louisiana)during business hours. My 1st night there my toilet kept overflowing when flushed, I reported it the next morning. The next day it was still not fixed I went back into the office and explained again as this is a 1 bedroom apartment. I should never pay rent and have to walk to the clubhouse at night for 2 days to use the restroom. Early July I started smelling a mildew smell in my bathroom. weeks later I see a wet spot at the top of my shower head on the sheetrock. I did an online maintenace request. Took 4 more weeks 2 calls and 2 office visits finally over a month later I got a call to ask me if I could come into the office and bring them a key as the one that they had was not working. left work early and was told that the person there did not know how to cut the key and asked if I could please go to Walmart or HomeDepot and get one made. (Really!) I got the key made and left it for the apartment complex. I call the next morning to find out if they got the key and the status on the leak, I asked to speak with the manager. I was told that according to the notes that someone had come out withing 48 hours of my initial report and fixed the leak. I responded that there's no way that it was fixed as each day the wall is wet not to mention how do you go in and fix something in an apartment and your key doesn't work. I asked the manager to get back with me after she figured out what was going on she agreed by lunch on the next day. The next day at 3 pm I called and asked about the status of the leak and what else would need to be done and I was told that the sheetrock people would be out to repair the sheetrock .
