They continue to tack on fees that are not originally on your lease agreement. I am now suddenly paying a separate trash and sewer fee on top of water. Which last month I called to report that the water was left on to gush out of outside faucets. I was told they were having plumbing issues but Im sure it was just to get water bills slightly higher across the building as I recorded that it stayed on over 13 hours. The rent is unrealistically expensive for what they offer.
Wouldnt recommend. I only ended up here as a last resort because I was given such short notice to move but thats besides the point. When I first moved here over a year ago, everything was pretty good honestly with the exception of the high rent. You could get much nicer at Ansley for less than what I pay here. They just didnt have anymore openings when I was looking. There is NO valet trash, you have to bring out your own trash (which Im okay with) you might have to fight with the many raccoons but with the rent so high, it should be included. The thermostat is not digital so its tricky to navigate. The maintenance people disappeared, so nothing I have reported has been fixed. Like I said I dont mind any of these things if rent was lower. Im paying high rent for outdated appliances. The whole apartment is outdated
The issues started when the new management company took over. It seems that nobody is educated on any of the procedures. There is no consistency here. They are constantly changing staff. Most of the staff is super UNhelpful. I work in retail and we are taught to service the customer and take care of the customer. These people dont try at all. They told me I couldnt resign my lease at 6 months even though they offer a 6 month lease.. who are they to tell me what Im gonna do with my money and time. The staff doesnt take me seriously and Im assuming its because I look super young which is low key disrespectful to me. I signed my lease at 869, $44 media fee included which is not negotiable apparently even if you wont use it. My water bill is about 12, but then they tacked on another bill THEY DIDNT INFORM ANY OF US ABOUT after a year and a half of me being here, my rent is now $901. I am so so happy I am leaving. Power is alwayysss out when it rains hard and its out for at least 12 hours so there goes all of your groceries. Wifi goes out a lot too. In Baton Rouge I was in a very nice area for way less than this rent and it had a fireplace.
Do yourself a favor and stay away. They cannot keep staff and will charge you fees for no reason.
Please dont waste your money at this place
I would never recommend living here bad experience and management isnt any better. Big mistake they dont deserve one star!!
Have you heard? The good life has come to Houma. And it's nothing like this city has ever seen. It's a life of luxury and ease, style and charm. A life where professional property management means you don't have a care in the world. It's the life you've always dreamed of. And always knew you deserved. On a typical day, lots of people take work home. Only here can you bring it home to a business center equipped with the same cutting-edge technology you enjoy at the office. Expensive health club memberships for your daily workout? Forget it: the state-of-the-art fitness center is all you need. Clearly, there's nothing everyday about living here. In Houma, the good life has a name: The Landing on Bayou Cane. And nothing will ever be the same.
Leases: 10 - 12 - 15 - 24 months.
