The apartment was not clean before we moved in. The floor still has dog hair lacquered in. Initially we had ants and roaches but that seemed to be resolved by cleaning up all the dog food and food spilled in drawers. The people above us likes to stay up past midnight and we hear every step they take. It is really bad when the ladies young kids are over for the weekend and some during the summer. We always know when they are over due to all the running and jumping. Weve even heard neighbors taking late at night, when the refrigerator isnt running. Which the refrigerator is horrible. It is difficult to watch anything on TV and people visiting always comment on how crazy loud it is. We also know when the refrigerator on the second floor is running. The apartment complex apparently caters to dogs as you can tell by evidence left all over the grounds. Rules are not enforced when it comes to cleanup after your dogs. My daughter initially thought about moving into the complex but then she visited us. She pays less for an older and better constructed apartment with all the issues we have. Looking forward to the end of our lease.
I love looking at the picture. I am looking for something beautiful, safe and quite, can't be around cats.
We have had an overall good experience at Kingston Crossing until recently. The grounds are beautiful, it is certainly an upscale apartment community and there are nice ammenities, the pool and gym are beautiful as well as the fire pit seating areas (although on weekend nights there are way to many people crowded around drinking) the neighborhood area is nice and the school district is one of the best around. Where our experience goes down hill, keep in mind that Kingston Crossing charges a whopping $400 pet fee. Non refundable. $400!!!! And...... they just take it. After moving from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment at Kingston we received an apartment INFESTED with long, black, dog hair. You could run your hand over the carpet and pick up a handful. For weeks, after vacuuming 2-3 times a day for weeks. The washing machine was also full of dog hair I assume from the precious tenants clothing being covered in dog hair. Its gross. My point is, why dont they use these $400 pet fees to replace carpet and other issues from pets. Thats what pet deposits and fees are for! We asked for the carpet and washing machine to be replaced multiple times and management would not make that happen, they simply sent someone out to vacuum and wipe out the dog hair from the washer. If you have a pet allergy or dont like pet hair, I would advise you to check with management before renting a unit and make sure it has never been lived in by pet owners because THEY DO NOT use the pet fees for what they are meant for. This experience was enough to ruin it for us, it puts a horrible taste in my mouth that they charge these fees to pet owners for no reason, aside from this experience the apartments are nice and everything is well kept around the community. The office staff is so-so. We would never personally live here again or recommend to any family or friends.
