I wish i could give one star. When things break they do not fix it, they patch it up. So in a month are so you'll have the same issue. I don't think they do a good job screening the potential residents because all but on neighbor I had were horrible. They would make a lot of noise and would leave trash on the stairs. I tell the office but the did nothing. I would have to clean the stairs that's in the foyer every few days.
Theres several reasons why this apartment complex received 1 star from me. If I could give them zero I would. First off I moved into my apartment Jan. 2017 and I also renewed my lease Jan 2018. I was given a letter the month that I was due to move out, which basically left me with no other option but to renew my lease. A girl named Cami from the Goodwood Place location renewed my lease and somehow messed it up, so I then later received emails stating that my rent would increase and that I would have to pay a additional amount. I was also told that I would get my carpet cleaned and still havent. Im half way through my lease and still no clean carpet. Secondly when you put in a maintenance request, it takes entirely too long for someone to come out and fix whatever issue you have. It snowed December 5, 2017 and unfortunately my heater went out. I had to constantly stay on them so that I could get the unit fixed. They then ordered me a new unit all together bc my old unit went out. Once the new one arrived it sat in my living room for a week before the contractors they hired came to install it. Knowing that we live in Louisiana and our weather is so bipolar, the contractors only installed he heat. I was then left with NO AIR. I explained to the office that I was pregnant and that I would not be living in an apartment where the air did not work.. my air wasnt back working until March. At least once every 3 weeks I have to call about my air and they only come out to recharge the unit and add freon instead of fixing the leak. My neighbor who stays up under me across the hall, smokes and the cigarette smell is constantly in the foyer and my apartment. Shes always loud and literally have parties all night long. I do not recommend anyone to move into these apartments.
I lived here while my house was being prepared after the Baton Rouge flooding. The office staff were considerate of my situation and helpful! I cannot express how helpful the office lady was! I will recommend this apartment complex to anyone. Kindness makes a difference.
