The Retreat at Brightside

The Retreat is an excellent apartment complex. The staff is great, Ms. Valerie and Ms. Holly are always there to help. Everyone has really made me feel welcomed, thank you!

The apartment was nice and well kept upon my move in date with little to no discrepancies or immediate work orders. The move in and move out process was made easy thanks to the amazing management staff. Anytime I did have to contact management during my tenancy, I felt reassured no matter the issue. Most of my interactions were with Valerie, who is arguably the best apartment manager I’ve ever dealt with.

I’ve been here since 2021 & I don’t want to leave when I graduate 😭 The amount of work that Holly, Valerie and the WHOLE TEAM put in is evident ! They are really my second family & i’ve never felt safer living in Baton Rouge thanks to them. It’s also so easy living here because it’s close to everything & the tiger trails bus passes at 3 different spots near the apartment

The retreat is a great apartment complex. It has a very friendly environment as I’ve been here for almost 2 years. It's very affordable. The units and appliances are also up-to-date. I don't have any complaints at all. Any problems I've encountered here, the office staff has always done their best to help me in any way. As for the office staff, Ms. Valerie and Ms. Holly are the best! The apartment community is very well kept, and for the most part pretty quiet. Overall, it's a great property to live at! I would recommend this place!

I had the privilege of living here for 3 years while attending LSU. This has been the best apartment I have lived in. The staff is great and has always been there for their residents. The appliances are up to date and the rooms are a nice size. They are really pet friendly. Within 5 minutes from LSU, Rouses, multiple food spots, and gas stations. My boyfriend and I have really enjoyed living here and if it weren’t for new job opportunities we would’ve stayed for as long as we could! This community beats any and all student living we have lived in!

The Retreat made my first grown up experience easy. I stepped out on faith when I decided to get my own apartment. I am forever thankful for choosing The Retreat. They helped me meet long-term friends, there are always competitions & giveaways (which I love b/c I am so competitive), & the staff there care for you. They actually hear your concerns & they are always friendly. I am coming up on my second year of being here. I love the cleanliness & friendliness of the area. 🧡 You can't beat it for the price.
