THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM I AM CURRENTLY TRYING TO GWT OUT OF MY LEASE . APARTMENT STAFF IA NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. THERE HAS BEEN A MICE SITTING IN MY HALL FOR 5 DAYS & THEY HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED SINCE THE FIRST DAY AMONGST OTHER THINGS.
This is a very bad place to rent from. I normally keep a very clean house. And when I moved out I was charged $250 for not buying a rug doctor and cleaning the carpets. They don't keep up on the maintenance issues and the property.
I have nothing but great rental history and this place is a total joke. At all costs do not route from this property.
It's a dump. Full of drug addicts and drunkards. People there have no consideration for others. They play their music so loud at night. They yell and cry out their windows. They burn their tires leaving the parking lots. Like I said, ITS A HOLE AND THE RENT IS TOO HIGH for all the stuff a person has to put up with to live here. And, good luck getting someone to come fix anything. ITS A HOLE !!!!!
I think Barkley Ridge offers a nice living space for its residents. The only complaint that I have is that we had an infestation of ants at the beginning of the summer. First they told us it wasn't an emergency when we called on the weekend. We literally had hundreds of ants pouring into our apartment and the only thing they did to help was give us a can of ant killer. I thought they would call an exterminator but that never happened. Other than that we have had a good experience.
I was told when i inquired at the office that my apt would b "cleaned-up" and was reassured that the apt would b sprayed for insects before we moved in. (when i looked thru the windows i saw where the previous tenants lft alot of their belongings in the rooms and there was a note on front door to check with the office. When we signed the lease and had the uhaul and trailor on the premises, we entered and it was a total pig stye. There were spiders, hard shell bugs coming in around the door.
