Lived here for over 4 years. Had a severe pest issue. Squirrels were in my ceiling and walls, literally busted holes in the walls to gain access to my apartment and kept chewing through the electrical wires. Was blown off and told that only an exterminator could be called, and they didn't want to do that because "it's expensive and they won't do anything". They put plywall over the holes for 3 years. But not before higher ups at BRG threatened to evict me for threatening to go to the city after BRG not doing anything for 6 months. Transferred apartments and ended up with neighbors above and below, below had fist fights and above were the loudest people I've ever met (I've lived in Apts for years). Again, I was told to quit complaining and pay my ever increasing rent for a place that hasn't been updated since the 70's. Randomly assaulted by a resident (went off meds, on drugs, Apt had 5 complaints same day and did nothing even after I was assaulted). Pitt bulls allowed to run loose. Drunks party by the mailboxes every day. Absolutely horrible experience.

I live there for 4 years it all management did and residents around you was complain they put me by an exit door knowing that I had two dogs at the time got rid of one dog got another one then I had to get rid of my dog because he talked too much complain complain complain I would have gave it a nothing but they would only let me give a two star I'll be done very good tenant paid my rent on time for 4 years never late I would clean up the laundry room clean up all the dog poop that the other tenants would not clean up all they do is complain and put notes on your door if you want to live with that go ahead so many complaints so glad I moved I live in Crittenden right now beautiful place I would say if you want to live like that go for it it is bad Barkley Ridge Apartments
