I have been living in my unit for 3.5 weeks now. Upon receiving my keys, this place was dirty, and I had to deep clean the unit myself (crap in the toilet, bathtub, sinks, bugs everywhere, etc). Need I mention my carpet literally smelled like wet dog, which has been the ONLY thing that was partially resolved (I had to go purchase carpet freshener which I apply every 3 days). All of this should have been ready BEFORE my arrival. Other maintenance requests were also turned in the day after I received my keys (after doing my walk through twice), and 3.5 weeks later those requests have not been resolved. The blinds in my living room do not close, which grants the general public allowance to look into the unit from the outside; countless times I have made eye contact with people, while I sit in the living room, as they walk by. Perhaps they should be paying me to live here, since my unit has now become entertainment central for the general public. I have been calling management, which within the last 2 weeks have stopped answering my call. Recently I went into the office to express my frustration, and the lady I spoke with said they were short staffed with maintenance and had a series of ACs to fix. I could give a rats flying butt that there are many ACs to be fixed when my unit should have been prepared UPON my arrival. My assumption is that management sucks because everyone keeps quitting (at least 2 people that I am aware of). The lady helping me with my application quit before I even signed my papers; maintenance man that promised to come 2 days after he saw me somehow quit during those 2 days. In short, save yourself the headache and sign elsewhere.
This place is a dump the buildings are old and the renovations are poorly done. There front office is very poorly run they lost my rent check multiple times and tried to charge me a late fee all because the person running the checks didn't know how to do it. I signed a 6 month lease and when my lease was up they told me that I owned them for the entire month because I didn't give them 60 days notice that I was leaving. I would say I have them 180 days hence why I signed a 6 month lease. They also tack your water bill onto your rent which would have been fine but they didn't tell me that was what they were doing until I made them after finely getting ahold of someone that was what they were doing. Avoid this place at all costs.
Terrible. Go somewhere else. Save your yourself a big headache. Not worth the price
The water is turned off about once a week for several hours for maintenance with no warning, electricity flickers almost daily (resetting all cable boxes, clocks, the stove, etc). Lots of empty apartments left with DOORS OPEN-lots of sketchy activity. There is ONE dumpster, and it is always overflowing, with raccoons and opossums crawling around it. We take our trash to the nice complex next door because the dumpster area is dangerous. Laundry facility hasnt been cleaned in the 6 months Ive lived here-we have to go to the laundromat because the room here is beyond nasty. Emails and voicemails are not returned. Maintenance is combative and defensive, and broken things stay broken. Seriously-find somewhere else-anywhere else.
They say they offer country living because there are constant brown outs, one garbage bin, dog poop everywhere, broken down vehicles in the complex and leaking water pipes. The office staff sympathize while youre talking to them then ignore the issues once you walk out.
