The management and maintenance staff is extremely friendly. They also stay ontop of everything. I've had the AC unit go out and they had it replaced within a week with no argument whatsoever. Also, they are continuously making improvements to the property.
Everyone in the leasing office is extremely kind and eager to help with any issues (not that there are any). This has been a terrible winter, but the maintenance workers always have my steps and the sidewalks shoveled and salted before I even walk outside. If I did not have to move, I would definitely be staying right where I am. I wish I had found this place earlier!
I lived in different apartments from 2009 when I started my graduate school in United States. Every place has pros and cons. However, it is very hard for me to find any cons for station house. Property manager Ms. Kristen and Elizabeth are very nice persons and always very helpful. If you have any problem related to maintenance, typically they fix it very quickly. I would also rate their technician as excellent. He is a very fast and highly dedicated to his work.
My perception about station house was not great during my first visit but after my first month, I found this place "the best" to live. It has an excellent laundry facility, gym, swimming pool, and also secured fence around the complex. It is a very safe place to live. Their apartments are up to date and I would highly recommend to try station house, especially if you are a professional or professional student.
I've enjoyed my time at Station House but have ran across a few issues during my residency. Some of the features that I expected to have for my new lease are not being provided thus far, yet the rent for the lease is still the same amount. Cable and internet was to be provided, but I am currently still paying separately for that through a cable company. Windows were supposed to be replaced during the spring of 2014 and has still not occurred. I would prefer having new windows over landscaping.
My main problem is finding parking when coming home from 3rd shift. Many times there is no where to park in the main lot, the guest lot, or on the street. In those cases I have to wait till someone else goes to work to find a place to park my car.
