Out of the 15 Apartments I looked at in the last two weeks, Maria was the most caring, most respectful Agent I have come across. From the moment my Daughter Ariel and I met her she treated with respect and acted as if we belonged. Herself and the other Agent acted professional and made my Daughter and myself want to live there. She gets a 100% in my book. Other Apartment Agents need to follow her in how they treat potential customers.

This apartment complex is absolutely gorgeous! I'm excited to hear that the apartment I put in an application for is mine! Awesome place to live!

Note- I did genuinely like living there for the first year. Until management changed and it went to complete crap. May 2021 - this place has tremendously gone down hill. Dirty. Price gouging. Hidden fees that they do not tell you about. My rent was $1200 but I was paying $1800-$1900 monthly after fees not including electric. Leaking above windows and patio doors that isnt fixed in a timely manner. I was charged for dry wall damage at move out due to the leaking patio as if I did this and didnt request it be fixed 3 times. A lot of the residents are moving out. New management every year and the current management is AWFUL. I do NOT recommend. I moved out in June and still have not gotten my deposit back. Today I was charged by LGE for the current electric usage because the apartment complex has not switched it back into their name LGE is stating its still my responsibility as the last tenant. I am having to call the corporate office to dispute this as the manager in the main office rushes you off the phone or isnt available when you call. December 2021 - I just received something from debt collection where highland station is stating I owe them $143.98 for utilities and fees. They have not once attempted to contact me and they have my cell #, current local address, and permanent address. I also have the final account statement showing a $0 balance at moveout and up to date RBS payment although I had moved out a month prior to me lease end date because the apartment had gone downhill that terribly. If youre moving out, keep the copy of your final account statement as they will try to snake more money from you. This was NOT provided to me but I had to request if from Gwen (the worst of the 3 property managers there within the timeframe I lived there) 3 times. It was finally sent to me on 8/5/2021.

So many random charges & hidden fees that don't make sense - charging $90 a month to park...in Louisville KY (?) I have a friend who still lives there and said now they charge everyone (even people without dogs) a "dog park fee" - that's a new one that wasn't there when I lived there...despite having the same dog park (?) They started *harrassing* me 6 months in to re-sign my lease/6months from my lease ending. They said it was standard - but now after talking with friends and living in a different complex I know that 6 months out from your lease ending is NOT NORMAL to be asked to re-sign. So high pressure, that it's so off putting - threatening in April 2020 (lockdown/quarantine) that they had already had a new renter lined up for my apartment and I had to re-sign my lease within 24 hours or they were going to assign it to a new tenante...my 60 days out would have been mid-May and my lease ended in mid-July. I'm not convinced there was another renter as we were in the middle of a pandemic and they had SEVERAL open apartments listed...it felt like ultimatum to force/trick me into resigning my lease. They also used the pandemic, as what seemed like, a fear tactic for me to resign my lease - that I wouldn't be able to find somewhere else to live in the middle of the pandemic if I didn't resign. Also, I lived on the top floor and woke up in the middle of the night to a water leak that was a foot away from ruining my computer.

No one should live here!!!!!!!! The leasing office, specifically Kim, is unethical and very dishonest. She complete took advantage of me and forced papers on me without explaining anything to me. Was looking for my first apartment and she completely ruined the whole experience for me!!!! Be very cautious!!! Kim, I hope you see this.

Complex is great and location is nice. Office staff is rude and unresponsive, pushy when they want you to resign your lease. Garage doors often get stuck open, but they do give any refunds for the secured parking we have to pay for each month.
