So far I have nothing but good things to say about the new management company that has taken over Chestnut Ridge. They have gone above and beyond to make sure that the buildings are clean the grounds are well manicured and they respond to your concerns in a quick and efficient manner. I hope they continue to do all of the things that they're doing I might never leave.
Paid $250 pet deposit when I moved in and $25 extra a month on my rent for 2 yrs, for my dog and when I moved out the walk thru went fine and nothing was said but 4 weeks later get a bill for $734 for carpet. DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU HAVE AN ANIMAL.
Office staff and maintenance personnel are caring, personable, and professional. They have the knowledge and capability to handle any situations that may arise and do so in a timely manner.
We have lived at Chestnut Ridge for about a year. The office and maintenance staff have been great to deal with. The property is well maintained, and kept nicely landscaped. These are not the fanciest or newest apartments but they are just fine for the price we pay.
Everything is great. Just wish people had to smoke cigs away from the building because it goes straight up to my apartment. I hate cigarette smoke. Comes from under my front door or when my windows are open. I know nothing can be done about that but it irritates me. Staff is very kind and asks if everything is alright with the apartment. Maintenance arrives as soon as they can which is usually quick. Grass is cut weekly. Not enough people pick up their pets waste even though there are free bags.
