I have lived at The Mansion for a little over a year and love it here! The location is perfect with ease to everything you could want. The staff are super sweet, you will always be greeted with a smile. A big thing for me was all the natural light in the apartments, having a washer and dryer included, and all the closet space!
Do not rent an apartment here! There is a reason they are the least expensive apartment in the area. In the last five months I had a broken step that went unfixed for over three months. It was not until I threatened by email to report them that it was finally fixed. I pay pest control every month but continue to have mice. My air conditioning has not worked all summer. The complex said there was nothing wrong even when the maintenance guy came to my apartment and saw it was 79 degrees on a Sunday evening. He turned it to 70 degrees and Iin 45 minutes the temperature never went under 79 degrees. The hot tub has been closed down for repairs since last year. The pool is shut down every summer for repairs and no one keeps the tanning bed clean. I could go on and on but Im just happy to say that I am finally out of this complex and would never recommend it to anyone!
PS you dont pay your own water bill and its outrageous!! I like by myself and my water bill was always forty dollars and above a month.
My lease here is ending in August and I am moving away for work but I will miss this place so much. This is the best apartment I've ever lived in. I've been here for three years now and I have never felt more like I was truly home than here. They painted and started renovating in the last couple of years and I'm in an older unit and I'm still happy with the price of my place even though my rent has increased. They also planned so well that I was rarely inconvenienced at all during this process. I've never heard my neighbors because the layout of the apartments minimizes sound between them. If we've needed maintenance it was always prompt. They really try to enforce rules to keep the grounds clean and have made it really easy to clean up for dog owners. There may be lower prices around but the convenience of in unit washer and dryer, location, and amenities make this place absolutely worth it.
The apartments are in a very good location. However, the trash disposal is awful, trash outside the containers are a constant, and during the summer it gets worst because of the smell and flies. Dog feces are all over the place, despite having a pet park, and poop disposals in several points of the complex. Swimming pool hours are posted in the pool are not true, several times during the summer time, the pool was closed until 9-10 AM. The apartments are really noisy, I can hear my upstairs neighbor talking, watching movies and more....If you are thinking in moving in, I strongly recommend to check other places before making the decision.
