I was a long-time resident of Mt. Tabor Apts. (until a few years ago), in which I relocated to another city. I enjoyed living in this complex. The grounds were always well-maintained; the community was pretty quiet and calm majority of the time. It has a 'good' feel. Whenever I had a problem with the apartment, it was addressed promptly. My experience with the manager was always positive; she was one of the best I've ever dealt with. She was kind, professional, courteous, and took pride in her job and apartment complex. The location was ideal too, close to New Circle, UK, Hamburg, Fayette Mall, and not too far from downtown. Mt. Tabor was a great place for me.

Would not approve nephew's application, although promised deposit + 6 months rent in advance another 6 months rent in two months.

Mt. Tabor Apartments has the following policy: "An apartment or townhouse may not be sublet on either a temporary or permanent basis." We cannot make an exception, as was explained to you before the application was submitted.

Truly the worst apartment I've ever lived in, the apartments are very cheaply made, I can hear EVERYTHING my upstairs neighbor does from hearing her cough all night long to being able to hear whatever she is watching on TV or her screaming at her kid who she has no control over. I originally had a roommate who ultimately moved out because she couldn't handle the noise anymore. I have called the leasing office about the noise and they completely blow me off. Candy and Becky are never in the office if you need to talk to them about something, they take multiple hour long lunch breaks and forget to turn the phone back on most days out of the week. They were very nice when I first moved in but as soon as I asked them to do something they became very rude. You get what you pay for which explains why the rent is so cheap. The maintenance staff is great and they fix things very quickly but I also haven't had many things need fixed. If you are debating between living here or somewhere else pick the other place.

Mt. Tabor Apartments has been operating since 1978. Our maintenance staff and management strive to do as much as possible with the time allotted in between residents. Thank you for the kind words of our maintenance staff. We work closely on resolving all work orders in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, in multi-housing, residents will hear noise from the neighbors. As we have explained previously, as long as it's not unreasonably loud or happening during nighttime hours, there's not much we can do. Having said that, we address every complaint, every time.
Anytime we leave the leasing office, our phones are forwarded. If we do miss a call, callers may leave a message which sends us an alert via email notification. At all times, we can be reached by email and we monitor that after hours, as well, which is why we've been able to act when a problem has occurred in the past. In any emergency, maintenance can be reached directly by telephone and those numbers were provided at move in. As in any office, it's impossible to be in all places at all times, including lunch hours. If a resident doesn't see our vehicle in the parking lot, it doesn't mean we are not on the job in some capacity. Furthermore, you are welcome to schedule an appointment with us to address your needs.
We apologize if we have ever made you or anyone feel that we were rude or fake. Our intentions are to make our residents feel heard and we take all complaints seriously. We document all complaints, as well.
