Merrick Place is a true community in a great location. Very well kept grounds, quick response maintenance and fantastic friendly employees. As the first place I have lived here in Lexington I feel very safe and welcome here, the houses/apartments have a lot of character and they are constantly upgrading them. The pool is wonderful in the summer and a very friendly crowd of people. Highly recommend it.

Erin Parker and maintenance was always on it and working as hard as they could. Even with this ice storm they made moving out simple and stress free. Thank yall for everything during our stay! The community really is amazing.

New is not always the best. Merrick Place has the most stunning grounds, and their maintenance team is the finest around. The folks in the office have all been there a while, so they really know all the residents. The apartments are not cookie- cutter, but are large and interesting. The location is just perfect! Having Merrick Inn on the property is so much fun. I read that Merrick was named "Best Apartments in Lexington" for 11 years in a row. Not hard to tell why.

I have lived at Merrick Place since 2012. There is so much to LOVE about Merrick! It's grounds are Beautiful! It looks like neighborhood, not an apartment complex! Office staff treats you like family! Maintenace is very responsive! Best Location in Lexington, close to great shopping and dining. Oh and you can walk to the Merrick Inn! Merrick is home and I wouldn't live anywhere else!

I lived here three months. Great locarion! Decent maintenance. Kind office staff. Reasons I left. FLEAS. People feeding feral cats attracted possums, squirrels and raccoons leaving FLEAS seeking hosts. My indoor only cat got fleas most likely hitch hiking on me. She got tape worms from them. Disgusting! Also, the creepy basements under the apartments have sump pumps which is good but a constantly dripping faucet outside had the pump coming on like clock work all night and day. Finally, night time parking near the restaurant where I couldn't afford to eat was impossible. The valet parking guys would run you down in the dimly lit parking lot as they parked cars. Sometimes you have to hoof it a long distance on weekends. Oh, laundry mats down spooky, unsafe stairs. My advice is to keep looking.
