Kentucky Mountain Bible College was founded in 1931 as way to provide an affordable educational opportunities for students looking to enter the Christian ministry. Since then it has gone on to keep its promise, and provides a diverse academic experience with a curriculum firmly rooted in the Christian faith.
In the more than eight decades since the school was founded, its mission has not changed. Unlike some other schools, Kentucky Mountain Bible College has made its education very accessible and keeps tuition at affordable levels. As such, a large percentage of students who apply to the school are accepted, and 70 percent go on to work in the Christian ministry in capacities ranging from speakers to missionaries to pastors. Plus, with a student body of under 100, everybody gets the attention he or she deserves.
Although faith is a big part of university living, the curriculum provides a much more diverse academic experience than that. In order to earn one of the two degrees, an associate degree in Biblical studies or a Bachelor's degree in religion, students also need to take classes in a number of other areas to supplement their religious teaching.
